Hi! I’m the new assistant professor of religious studies at NDSU. I will teach a wide range of topics dealing with global (or local) religion, race, social justice and politics. Since I’m also a historian, many of my classes will be cross-listed with history. My research focuses on American religious history. I grew up in Olympia, WA and lived in Connecticut, North Carolina and St. Louis before moving to Fargo this summer. I love to travel and talk about traveling adventures; I read a lot and like to bake tasty things. I’m excited to explore this part of the United States before it freezes over.
